Emergency CasesMartha Okumu, Executive Director of Peace Tree Network, is a peacebuilding and human rights leader with over two decades of experience in programme leadership, research and institutional governance. She brings strong expertise in governance, strategic planning, donor compliance, financial oversight, and risk management in the non-profit sector. Martha has led nationally recognized initiatives on women’s political participation, unarmed civilian protection, and civic engagement. She advises on inclusive, ethical and evidence-based leadership, integrating gender-responsive and youth-inclusive approaches into policy and strategy. She is currently pursuing Graduates Studies in Strategic Management, and supports Nabaad because she deeply believes its commitment to dialogue, building local capacity and amplifying voices as the foundation for building peace and inclusive future.
